Deputy Kenneth Embert Graduates from the Eastern Shore Criminal Justice Academy

July 02, 2025

Please join Sheriff Baker and the entire staff of the Caroline County Sheriff's in welcoming Deputy Kenneth "Joey" Embert to our ranks.
Deputy Embert successfully completed the 94th class of the Eastern Shore Criminal Justice Academy, a prestigious and demanding program that spans six months. This comprehensive curriculum includes rigorous physical training, in-depth instruction on law enforcement protocols, and critical coursework in criminal justice principles. The program is designed to develop not only the physical capabilities required for effective policing but also the mental fortitude and academic acumen essential for success in law enforcement.
Having now commenced his field training program, Deputy Embert will work closely under the guidance of a Field Training Deputy, who will supervise and evaluate his performance in real-world scenarios. This training phase is crucial as it allows him to apply his knowledge in a practical environment while receiving mentorship from seasoned professionals.
We are excited to have Deputy Embert on board and are confident that he will make significant contributions to the safety and well-being of our community. We look forward to witnessing the positive impact he will undoubtedly have in his new role.
