The Caroline County Sheriff’s Office has been made aware of another recent telephone scam whereas a subject poses as Caroline County Sheriff's Office Sergeant or Detective and advises that you owe money.
Please remember, this is NOT a standard business practice, and the Caroline County Sheriff’s Office will NEVER contact citizens and request money over the phone.
If you receive a telephone call of this nature you should not provide any personal or financial information. Please contact local law enforcement if you think you have become the victim of a scam.
