CCSO Staff and Families Give Back

November 27, 2025

On Thanksgiving morning, members of the Caroline County Sheriff's Office, joined by their family members, had the privilege of spending the early hours delivering meals to citizens in need throughout our county. This effort is something we look forward to each year, as it reminds us of what the holiday is truly about—coming together as a community, showing compassion, and ensuring that no one is forgotten.

As deputies, staff, and loved ones set out across Caroline County, each delivery became more than just a meal—it was a moment of connection. A warm greeting at the door, a shared smile, or a simple “Happy Thanksgiving” had a way of brightening the day for both those receiving the meals and those delivering them. These interactions serve as a meaningful reminder that kindness, even in small gestures, can make a lasting impact.

We are incredibly grateful for the opportunity to support our neighbors and to stand alongside local partners, including Neighbors United to Serve and St. Luke's Church, who help make this tradition possible. Caroline County is a community filled with generosity, strength, and heart, and we are proud to serve the people who make it such a special place.

From all of us at the Caroline County Sheriff's Office, we hope you and your families had a safe and peaceful Thanksgiving. As we now transition into the Christmas holiday we hope that your days will be filled with gratitude, warmth, and moments that remind us all of how fortunate we are to share this community together
